Then the Kingdom of Heaven will be like ten virgins who took their lamps and went to meet the bridegroom. Five of them were foolish, and five were wise. For when the foolish took their lamps, they took no oil with them, but the wise took flasks of oil with their lamps.

Christians commonly say they’ll be on the ‘first flight’ in the rapture. However, few consider the consequences of missing that flight.
Let me explain. When flying, you buy a ticket for a set destination and time. But if you don’t reach the boarding gate on time, you risk missing the flight altogether.
Similarly, missing the ‘first flight’ has eternal consequences. In this parable, the Lord Jesus highlights the need for spiritual readiness, symbolised by the virgins’ choice to keep their lamps and oil ready.
He also stresses the importance of a strong relationship with Him. Always be rapture-ready; be found doing God’s work and making impact in His Kingdom!
PROPHETIC DECLARATION
I AM RAPTURE-READY! I understand the significance of being on the first flight to Heaven. At the appointed time, I’ll be ready at the boarding gate! Hallelujah! Amen.
