And Elisha prayed, and said, LORD, I pray thee, open his eyes, that he may see. And the LORD opened the eyes of the young man; and he saw: and, behold, the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire round about Elisha.

Elisha’s servant was in panic mode, looking at natural reality when he and the prophet were surrounded by horses and chariots of the enemies’ armies after Prophet Elisha’s life! Prophet Elisha was not an ordinary man. In fact, no true prophet of God is an ordinary human; he is God’s spokesman endorsed by Heaven.
Prophet Elisha knew that he had an army more sophisticated than the one his servant was seeing. It took the prophet’s prayer for his servant’s eyes to be opened to see the true reality of the battlefield arraignment. Elisha was not just protected by heavily armed angels, but they rode on chariots of fire!
Proximity to the Prophet of God in the physical should not cloud your understanding that a spiritual reality distortion field separates what could be calculated as thousands of miles in the realm of the spirit. That is the reality you need to honour!
PROPHETIC DECLARATION
I serve in the house of God with diligence and honour. I shall remain respectful and courteous as a responsible servant of the Lord to those God has placed over me in ministry, in Jesus’ mighty Name. Amen.
