GOODNEWS DAILY TEACHING BY UEBERT ANGEL 27TH JANUARY 2026.
Did you know your diet determines discernment? Isaiah prophesied Jesus’ diet, ”butter and honey”, was training for discernment: “that He may know (yada‘: experiential knowing) to refuse evil and choose good.” The world says, “You are what you eat.” Biblically, you know as you eat. What you consistently consume, scripture, counsel, media, habits, sharpens or dulls your spiritual reflexes. Even in the physical, diet shapes capacity. In the spirit, feeding on God’s Word tunes your instincts so that rejecting evil and choosing good becomes automatic. Curate your intake. Fill your day with “butter and honey” for the spirit: the Word, worship, wise voices. Starve inputs that fog your judgment. Before decisions, “taste” the text by reading, meditating, and confessing the Word. Let your menu form your morals and allow your appetite to train your discernment.
PROPHETIC DECLARATION
I feed on the Word, and my senses are trained. I know to refuse evil and choose good. My appetites align with Heaven; my judgment is sharp, and my steps are sure, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
