During Christmas, it’s easy to say “I love you”, it’s part of the “Christmas spirit.”
But many mistake tolerance for love, assuming they’re the same. In Leviticus 19:18, the Bible says, “Love your neighbour as yourself.”
The word “neighbour” here refers to those around you, friends, family, church members, not just literal neighbours.
But how many can honestly say they treat others as well as they treat themselves? The Lord Jesus came and manifested God’s love in a way that was different.
He said, “Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends” (John 15:13).
He showed us love from God’s perspective, and not only did He preach this love, but He also proved it. This Christmas, make it a point to prove you love others.
PROPHETIC DECLARATION
The love of God is shed abroad in my heart; therefore, loving others more shall be easy for me. I shall demonstrate this love even more this Christmas in Jesus’ Name! Amen.
