The Word of God is clear when it gives instruction about the relationship between children and their parents. I want you to take note how verses 1 and 2 speak of two different sets of parents.
These verses are not repetitive; rather, there is a lesson to be learnt there. The first verse talks about obeying your spiritual parents that God has placed over you, and verse two talks about your biological parents.
When you dishonour your parents, both spiritual and biological, it affects your life negatively. Success may come, but it can be fleeting, with cycles of ups and downs, losses, and instability.
Honouring your parents is a divine instruction that guarantees a pleasant life! Honour them today!
PROPHETIC DECLARATION
From today, I shall put even more effort into obeying and honouring my spiritual and biological parents. As they bless and watch over me, my life is set on the right course, and I am winning in everything in Jesus’ Name! Amen.
