GOODNEWS DAILY TEACHING BY UEBERT ANGEL 1ST JULY.
Today’s scripture shows us that a true son is poised to receive his father’s inheritance, even the grandchildren! You see, the moment Elisha was called, he considered Prophet Elijah his master. Hence, the relationship between the two was of a servant and master nature.
Throughout his walk and servitude to Prophet Elijah, Elisha called Elijah a master. The reality is that Elisha lived under Elijah simply as a servant! Imagine, when Elisha said he wanted a double portion of what Elijah had, the reply was it was a hard thing. A master could not bequeath to a servant’s inheritance, so it was difficult for Elijah to readily accept Elisha’s request.
However, Elijah conditioned his reply and said, “If you see me go,” what you asked is yours! The very moment the chariots separated Elijah from Elisha, Elisha recognised that Elijah was his spiritual father, and it was at the point of recognition of fatherhood that the mantle upon Elijah was released on Elisha as a son. Recognise who you are and partake of the inheritance as a son.
PROPHETIC DECLARATION
I know whose I am, a child of the King; royalty is in my DNA. I cannot struggle nor beg for bread. I have power over sicknesses and infirmities always in the Name of Jesus.
