Did you know that you walk around with a state-of-the-art medical facility in your body? Everything you ever need is right there with you— even the cure to any disease imaginable. So the question is, are you sick? The Bible here tells us that laughter is the best medicine. But this is not just any kind of laughter; this is the joy of the Lord. This type of joy is not dependent on the happenings around you but stems from your spirit.
The Bible also says, “The joy of the Lord is my strength” (Nehemiah 8:10). You get your strength from the joy that stems from the Lord. It also says, “Rejoice in the Lord always: and again I say, Rejoice” (Philippians 4:4). Too many times, the Bible tells us not to worry but to rejoice because it is vital for your wellbeing. It’s literally like medicine.
The devil knows all he has to do is chip away your joy, and he takes away your strength. Stand fast on the promises of God, rejoicing evermore, and you will always have peace that surpasses all understanding whilst restoring your body!
PROPHETIC DECLARATION
The joy of the Lord is my strength. Nothing in this world will take away my joy. My body is rejuvenated as I rejoice in the Lord. Hallelujah!
