GOODNEWS DAILY TEACHING BY UEBERT ANGEL 14TH DECEMBER 2025.
Joshua understood the power of family. Near the end of his life, he gathered Israel’s leaders for a final message, reminding them of God’s past blessings (Joshua 24:1–14) and urging them to remain faithful to God.
In the middle of his message, he declared the timeless words many recite and display in their homes: “But as for me and my household, we will serve the Lord.”
See how Joshua personalised it? “But as for me.” Ultimately, it comes down to this. You must choose to serve the Lord.
It won’t happen by accident, and it can’t be inherited. Others may pass on a heritage of faith, but you must decide to make it your own.
This festive season, make the choice to serve God as a family. It’s the greatest gift you can share.
Read the word together, pray together and grow together. Get rid of any malice, make peace with one another and let love lead. Start today!
