I’ve often said that “devil” isn’t Satan’s name but his job description. It means one who strikes repeatedly until he breaks through. That’s persistence. Likewise, persistent prayer reflects unwavering faith in God’s
promises.
Jesus Christ shared the parable of the persistent widow to encourage us to always pray and never give up (Luke 18:1). Persistence in prayer isn’t about repetition; it’s about anchoring your hope in God.
He hears your cries but often uses persistence to refine your character and deepen your trust in Him. As we persist in prayer, our spiritual muscles get stronger.
Our focus shifts to eternal things, and prayer becomes more about communion with the Father than merely getting answers. P
aul says, “Pray without ceasing” (1 Thessalonians 5:17). This continual posture of prayer builds resilience, deepens intimacy, and helps us discern His timing. Let persistent prayer be your testimony.
PROPHETIC DECLARATION
I will never mistake God’s silence for absence. I shall keep praying. I align my prayer with His will. My miracle shall surely come to pass in this year of the Chain Breaker. Praise the Lord! Hallelujah.
