DAILY MANNA FOR TODAY
Many people struggle to fully grasp the Book of Revelation because of its prophetic and symbolic nature. Yet, Bible scholars agree that it offers a solemn revelation of the coming judgment of God upon the world. One undeniable truth shines through all interpretations: sin and rebellion against God will eventually reach their limit, and divine justice will take its course.
God, in His mercy, has given humanity countless opportunities to repent, but the world continues to ignore His call. There will come a day—known as the Day of the Lord—when His patience will end, and His righteous judgment will be poured out upon the unrepentant.
In today’s passage, John the Apostle describes terrifying scenes of divine wrath: dreadful plagues, unbearable heat, and unimaginable suffering falling upon those who reject God and choose to worship the beast (Antichrist). Rather than repent, the people blaspheme God even in their pain. Their hardened hearts reveal how sin blinds and enslaves those who persist in disobedience.
This vivid revelation serves as a sobering reminder that divine punishment is real and inescapable. No one who rejects God’s grace and continues in rebellion can escape His justice. The time of mercy is now—before the great tribulation begins.
Has the Lord been warning you about certain sinful habits or ungodly compromises? Have you ignored His call to repentance, assuming judgment is far away? Don’t be deceived. The day of reckoning is nearer than ever. God’s mercy is available now, but His justice awaits those who refuse His grace. Repent today, confess your sins, and embrace Jesus Christ as your Saviour and Lord while there is still time.
