ANGLICAN COMMUNION DEVOTIONAL OUTLINE FOR 4TH APRIL 2025.
Jesus did not abandon the man who was formerly blind. When He heard that he was cast out of the Synagogue, He found him, and explained the word of God more clearly to him.
When the man increased in his personal knowledge of Christ, he declared “Lord, I believe!” Then he worshiped the Lord Jesus Christ.
Many of our relatives, associates and church members go about with a low experience of Christ. Worse still, even after receiving many divine favours and deliverance, many do not have personal faith in Jesus Christ.
Paul’s desire was to know Christ more and be found in him (Phil. 3:10).
Is that your desire? What personal efforts can you make today to enable someone grow both in faith and personal knowledge of Christ? Many Christians suffer persecution today because of their faith in Christ.
Jesus actually told us that persecutions will come, but we should not be afraid because He will be with us and help us (Luke 21:12-19).
Leah Sharibu was one of the 110 girls abducted from a school in Yobe State in 2018. She was not released with the others because of her faith in Christ.
As Jesus found and helped the ex-blind man, find and help someone who is suffering persecution as a Christian today!
PRAYER: O Lord, help me to know you more intimately, Amen!
