ANGLICAN COMMUNION DEVOTIONAL OUTLINE FOR 28TH MARCH 2026.
Two blind men were seated helpless by the way side as the noise of Jesus’ passing came to their notice. They cried out to Him for mercy. The crowd, just like today, did not encourage their desire to be healed. However, the more they tried to stop them, they more they called on Jesus for help. As is with Jesus, He called them to come.
As they came, He noticed that they were blind, yet, He gave them the opportunity of sitting their request. He had compassion on them, and that led to their healing. What is it that takes sleep away from you? What is it that has made you incomplete in your life? Jesus Christ is passing this way today. Cry aloud, spare not! Don’t allow the discouragement of men to get at you.
The crowd dd not encourage the blind men, they may not also encourage you. However, Jesus’ ear is wide open to your call. The blind men were very specific to Jesus’ question. Be specific today. Tell Him what you want. He hears, and will attend to your need according to His will.
PRAYER POINT: O God, hear my cry and attend to my needs in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
