The Topic of Daily Fountain Devotional for 18th November 2025 is “The Book Will Be Opened!”

Read: Revelation 20:11-15(NKJV)

11. Then I saw a great white throne and Him who sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away. And there was found no place for them.
12. And I saw the dead, small and great, standing before God, and books were opened. And another book was opened, which is [the Book] of Life. And the dead were judged according to their works, by the things which were written in the books.
13. The sea gave up the dead who were in it, and Death and Hades delivered up the dead who were in them. And they were judged, each one according to his works.
14. Then Death and Hades were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.
15. And anyone not found written in the Book of Life was cast into the lake of fire.

ANGLICAN COMMUNION DEVOTIONAL OUTLINE  FOR 18TH NOVEMBER 2025.

The judgment of God will surely come to pass. In that judgment, the dead-great and small-will stand before the Great White Throne of God, and books will be opened including the Book of Life which contains the names of all who committed their lives to Christ and put their trust in him to save them.

It also contains the records of every person’s work -good or bad. The question is: Are you born again? Are you washed in the blood of the Lamb? Are your garments spotless?

Verse 15 tells us that those whose names are not found in the Book of Life will be thrown into the lake of fire.

Though we are not saved by work, however, our works are evidence of our faith, salvation and relationship with God.

No wonder Paul urges believers to devote themselves to good work. Read Titus 3:8. Beloved, ensure that for the remaining part of this year and all other years, you will commit yourself to doing good works.

Help the poor, the needy and those who need your help. Use your gifts, positions and talents to serve the Lord, and live a life of righteousness. Be careful about what you think, say or do, knowing that one day, the Book will be opened.

PRAYER POINT: Dear Lord, take my life, and let it be consecrated to you.
