ANGLICAN COMMUNION DEVOTIONAL OUTLINE FOR 11TH NOVEMBER 2025.
Anyone who desires peace must learn the principles that bring peace, and anyone who desires success must equally learn the secrets that lead to success.
Today’s passage reveals vital lessons that can help build strong and healthy families. The virtuous woman described here is a picture of diligence, responsibility, and godly devotion.
First, she takes responsibility — rising early to care for her household and even her maidservants (v.15). She does not leave everything to others but leads by example in service and commitment.
Second, she invests wisely in her family’s interest (v.16), showing foresight and sound judgment. She is productive, resourceful, and ensures that her efforts contribute to the well-being of her home.
Verse 18 highlights her commitment to excellence — she ensures that her business prospers and that her light (symbolising diligence and perseverance) never goes out.
Beloved, the change you desire in your family starts with you. Whether as a husband or wife, show genuine commitment, love, and responsibility. Where service is needed, render it cheerfully; where appreciation is due, express it sincerely.
Remember, God has entrusted your family to your care, and you are accountable to Him. Be faithful and diligent in this divine trust, for your family’s success brings glory to God.
PRAYER POINT: Heavenly Father, may I never disappoint You in the great trust You have placed upon me in my family responsibilities. Amen.
