Many think worship is only singing praises to God at church, but worship is a lifestyle. Worship is more than just going to church on Sunday. Worship is letting Jesus Christ control every aspect of your life and spending time with Him doing what you know will please the Lord.
People have a lot of ideas about worship, don’t they? Worship is responding to all that God is in gratitude and praise. Can I worship in a church service? Yes. Can I worship with music? Yes. It is prayer, yes. But it goes beyond that. It is responding to all that He is with all that I am. Worship includes all of life. The more you worship God, the more godly you become. We become like what we worship and who we spend time with. God wants us to worship for what worship will do for us. It is how we were designed to live, reflecting His image.
