The Topic of Adrian Rogers Love Worth Finding Daily Devotional For Today 20th October 2025 is “Only What’s Done for Christ Will Last”
Sermon: Acts 19:28–29 (NKJV)
“Now when they heard this, they were full of wrath and cried out, saying, ‘Great is Diana of the Ephesians!’ So the whole city was filled with confusion, and rushed into the theater with one accord, having seized Gaius and Aristarchus, Macedonians, Paul’s travel companions.”
LOVE WORTH FINDING DEVOTIONAL – MESSAGE FOR TODAY.
In Ephesus, there was an uproar with Demetrius the silversmith when Paul came and preached the truth. They tried to make Paul look like the bad guy. They held onto their sin and refused Christ. It was a tragedy. I’ve been to Ephesus, where all this took place. Guess what. Ephesus is in ruin, Demetrius is dead, and all those silversmiths are gone. It has been said, “You only have one life, and it will soon be passed. Only what’s done for Christ will last.” This is the truth. We can get in an uproar to insist on our own way or listen to the God who truly knows best for us.
Following Christ is the only way that will last. We are often taken off course by the pleasures of the world that ultimately will fade away. But we will never regret a single moment spent for Christ.
