Focus: Walking in the Spirit
Scripture: “This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh.” – Galatians 5:16
Reflection:
The Christian life is not lived by human effort but by the enabling of the Holy Spirit. To walk in the Spirit is to yield daily to His leading, allowing Him to govern your desires, decisions, and actions. The flesh constantly wars against the Spirit, but victory comes when we submit to the Spirit’s control. When you walk in the Spirit, the fruit of love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, and self-control become evident in your life. The Spirit empowers you to overcome temptation, to discern truth from error, and to live a life pleasing to God. Many believers struggle because they try to serve God in their strength rather than in the Spirit’s power. But life in the Spirit is one of freedom, power, and intimacy with God. Each day, you must consciously choose to follow His voice rather than the pull of the flesh.
Prayer Point: Holy Spirit, lead me in all I do today and empower me to walk in Your ways rather than the desires of the flesh.
Inspiring Quote: “Trying to live the Christian life without the Spirit of God is like trying to sail without wind.” – Anonymous
This Is the Assurance of Answers to Your Prayers – Matthew 7:7-11
Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives, and the one who seeks finds, and to the one who knocks it will be opened…YOUR FATHER WHO IS IN HEAVEN GIVE GOOD THINGS TO THOSE WHO ASK HIM!
