“Pray without ceasing.”
Daniel had a strong and consistent prayer routine. He prayed three times daily, kneeling with his windows open and facing Jerusalem. When his enemies manipulated the king into issuing a decree that no one should pray to any god, Daniel refused to compromise.
Even when prayer became a crime punishable by death, he continued praying as usual.
By God’s grace, consistency in prayer has kept me relevant because staying connected to God—the Source of life, wisdom, and strength—is essential. Daniel’s prayer life was reflected in his excellence.
He served faithfully under three different governments, remained relevant, and possessed an excellent spirit that distinguished him from others.
My dear child, if you desire excellence in your studies, career, or business, you must become a prayer champion. Prayer connects you to God, the Supplier of wisdom, favour, and resources.
When threats or challenges arise, do not panic—go on your knees in faith and pray to the living God, and He will surely answer you.
