The Topic of Teenagers Open Heavens for Sunday 26th October 2026 Is “Zero to Hero”
Read: Matthew 25:20-27 (KJV)
Memorise: (Zechariah 4:10)
For who has despised the day of small things? for these seven rejoice to see The plumb line in the hand of Zerubbabel. they are the eyes of the LORD, which scan to and fro throughout the whole earth.”
God delights in using small and seemingly insignificant things and people to show forth His glory. Today’s memory verse admonishes us not to despise our small beginnings. No matter what you set your heart to accomplish in life, start small and trust God for a great outcome. Believe me, one of the attributes that helped many successful people to reach the top is consistency; they might have started small, but they kept taking little steps until they attained success.
When I assumed office as the General Overseer of The Redeemed Christian Church of God, my team and I did menial tasks within the church. We made wooden benches for congregants to sit on, constructed pit latrines for their convenience, cooked with firewood in thatched-roofed kitchens, and fetched water from wells. We started small, but today the story has changed completely, all to the glory of God.
My dear child, God is preparing you for greatness; therefore, do not take your daily activities at home, school, and church with levity. Be committed to small actions, because they will result in a big impact in future.
KEY POINT:
Be diligent and consistent.
BIBLE IN ONE YEAR:
Luke 6:1-26, Joshua 21-22
HYMNAL:
Hymn 4 – Revive Thy work, O Lord
