TREM DEVOTIONAL FOR 10TH JULY 2025
Beloved, the Psalmist tells us to remember all God’s benefits. Remember them always. In a world where it’s easy to focus on what we lack or what hasn’t yet manifested, the Spirit calls us to shift our gaze – to remember what God has already done.
You may be thinking, “What benefits? I’m still waiting on answered prayers.” But take a moment to reflect: He forgave you. He healed you. “Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases…” You were rescued from the grip of sin and eternal separation. You could have been lost forever. Yet God, in His mercy, saved you, forgave you, and called you His own.
The word “healeth” is a present continuous verb. It means He has healed, is healing, and will continue to heal. Praise God! He is still healing. That breath in your lungs? That strength in your bones? That clarity in your thoughts? They are all evidence of His healing grace.
There are forces contending with you every day. “Blessed be the Lord, who has not given us as a prey to their teeth. Our soul is escaped as a bird out of the snare of the fowler” (Psalm 124:6-7). You were redeemed from destruction, seen and unseen. So don’t let a day go by without lifting your voice in gratitude.
His mercy endures forever. It is not for a moment. The mercy of God endures forever. It endures. In other words, you can always run to Him for mercy. When everything seems dark and there seems to be no one standing by you, there is a place you can run to. He doesn’t shut His doors. Even when you blow it and mess up big time, His doors are always open. “Thank you, Jesus.” Remember to say these words to Him every day.
