MFM Daily Devotional Message Tuesday 25th February 2026.

The devil has one weapon with which he easily finishes unwary believers. That is the weapon of anxiety. What is anxiety? It is the feeling of being very worried about the issues of life. Many people get so worried over situations and circumstances that they become sick, tired and unproductive.

Some end up losing their minds out of hopelessness. Believers in Christ are not supposed to have this kind of attitude, but the devil ensures that he gets them to that point where they see impossibility instead of possibility. They think it is all over when God is yet to start with them because they have not given Him a chance to do so.Psalm 23: 1-6 puts it succinctly; it says, “The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.

He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters. He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name’s sake. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.

Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever.”

A good understanding of the above Scripture will put your mind at rest as a child of God concerning any challenge that you may be facing. Verse 4 is a great solace to us and it says, “Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me.”
