The Topic of Teenagers Open Heavens for Saturday 11th January 2025 Is “Be The Right Example”
Read: 2 Timothy 2:19-21
[19]Nevertheless the foundation of God standeth sure, having this seal, The Lord knoweth them that are his. And, Let every one that nameth the name of Christ depart from iniquity.
[20]But in a great house there are not only vessels of gold and of silver, but also of wood and of earth; and some to honour, and some to dishonour.
[21]If a man therefore purge himself from these, he shall be a vessel unto honour, sanctified, and meet for the master’s use, and prepared unto every good work.

As a follow-up discussion from yesterday, a question you should ask yourself is, “What kind of example would I be to those coming after me?” God can raise a fellow and promote him or her greatly such that the fellow will be a shining example. On the other hand, however, when a fellow makes terrible mistakes, he or she becomes a negative example for others to learn from.
If you read 1 Corinthians 10:1-11 carefully, you will see that verses 1-4 focused on the investments God made in the lives of the Israelites, while the rest of the passage revealed how many of them became bad examples for generations after them. Beloved, God is making investments in you now: He is making sure that you read and hear certain messages. He is also showering you with His goodness and mercies. However, what will be the outcome of all these? Will you be referred to as a good example or a bad one in the future?
My dear child, only the Holy Spirit can help you set good examples for others. Ask Him to help you in making the right decisions.
ACTION POINT
For the next ten minutes, ask the Holy Spirit to help you to be a good example to others.
