1. Father, I thank You for Your word that exposes the dangers of gluttony and calls us to discipline and self-control, in Jesus’ name.
2. Lord, I repent of every act of gluttony, overeating, and yielding to the lusts of my flesh concerning food. Forgive me for any time my appetite has controlled me rather than me controlling it, in Jesus’ name.
3. Father, I pray for divine strength and grace to overcome the spirit of gluttony. Help me to control myself whenever my appetite seeks to enslave me, in Jesus’ name.
4. I receive the power to exercise self-control in all things, especially concerning my diet. Let not sin reign in my mortal body through undisciplined eating habits, in Jesus’ name.
5. Lord, empower me to be a soldier for Christ, living a life of discipline, rather than being prey to the devil through gluttony. May my flesh be subdued by my spirit, in Jesus’ name.
6. Father, instill in me a greater desire for spiritual alertness and discipline to fast as Your word commands. Deliver me from spiritual dullness caused by overeating, in Jesus’ name.
7. I pray for the grace to attain higher levels of spiritual authority that come through combining prayer with fasting. Help me to see fasting not as an ‘if’ but as a ‘when’, in Jesus’ name.
8. Lord, protect my physical health from the dangers of gluttony. Deliver me from diseases and weaknesses that arise from overeating and wrong dietary choices, in Jesus’ name.
9. Father, help me to eat moderately and correctly, so my body can be stronger and better able to fight diseases. Let me not make my body weak by giving it extra work to digest excess food, in Jesus’ name.
10. Lord, I pray for the discipline to live like true soldiers of Christ, with a regulated diet, so I can fulfill my destiny and finish strong, just as Pastor E. A. Adeboye has exemplified, in Jesus’ name.
11.Father, send help to Your son, Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye in all areas of his life.
12. Enlarge his capacity to fulfill Your purpose for his life in all areas; bless his home, and family (biological and spiritual), and help them to continue to produce sons and daughters to Your glory, in Jesus name.
13. Father, bless Your son that You have been using to prepare these prayer points, beyond measures, and all those who have been rebroadcasting them, in Jesus name.
14. Father, let every challenge, hindrance and obstacle of getting these prayer points across to Your children, timely, and on daily basis be removed, in Jesus name.
