Sermon: Matthew 5:14-16
You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden. Nor do they light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a lampstand, and it gives light to all who are in the house. Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.
LOVE WORTH FINDING DEVOTIONAL – MESSAGE FOR TODAY.
The great question is not, “Are they lost if they don’t hear?” The great question is, “Are we saved if we don’t tell?” Think about it. How can we say we believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, that He is our Lord and Savior, but not obey Him?
I have a friend whose hobby is bass fishing. He was in the back of a department store in the fishing section, and he met a man back there. He asked the man, “What’s a good bass lure?” The man came alive. He began to talk to him about bass lures. He began to talk to him about rods, reels, lines, and bass. It was obvious the man was full of bass fishing. What’s down in the well comes up in the bucket. You may say, “I have difficulty talking about Jesus.” You know why? You’ve got nothing in the well. Sharing with others is a sign that you’ve seen and know the Lord of glory. We are to live as witnesses to everyone around us.
