SEEDS OF DESTINY MESSAGE FOR TODAY 30TH DECEMBER 2025

In our walk with God, one of the things to watch out for is the guilt of sin; it is a major enemy of authentic spirituality. The guilt of sin is a terminal disease to the spirit of a man. This is why it must be avoided like a plague.

Beloved, if you want to consistently live in victory against the devil and his agent, refuse to live with the guilt of sin.

Today, we shall be looking at some of the dangers of guilt.

Now, what is the target of the guilt of sin in the life of a Christian?

  1. The guilt of sin frustrates boldness in the spirit. Lies, stealing, cheating, immorality, watching corrupt movies, bitterness, etc., defile the conscience, and whatever defiles the conscience deflates your confidence (Proverbs 28:1).

  2. Guilt is the magnet of fear (Genesis 3:7–10). Anywhere guilt is found, fear is present. And fear attracts the activity of the devil.

  3. Guilt establishes accusations from both the enemy and from within. Nothing silences the voice of faith like the voice of accusation and guilt. When it is time to pray, make decrees or bind the devil, the devil being the accuser of the brethren (Revelations 12:10) would arise to accuse you if you have the guilt of sin.

  4. The guilt of sin establishes weakness in the spirit. Samson was weakened by sin (Judges 16:16–20). And it is not possible to be weak in the spirit and be strong in faith.

Beloved, in this end time when the enemy is fighting the faith of God’s people, guard your heart from the guilt of sin. Every invitation to sin is an invitation to establish you in guilt and expose you to dangers. It is an invitation to weaken your spirit and make you vulnerable in life.

REMEMBER THIS:
Nothing silences the voice of faith like the voice of accusation and guilt.

ASSIGNMENT(S):

  1. Avoid sin so you can escape the guilt of sin.

  2. Depend on God’s grace to maintain a clear conscience.

  3. Draw closer to God always and maintain the atmosphere of His Presence.

PRAYER:
Lord, please purge me and cleanse me of every form of guilt. Father, draw me closer to You every moment of my life, Lord, in Jesus’ Name.
