SEEDS OF DESTINY MESSAGE FOR TODAY 10TH DECEMBER 2025
Prayer carries tremendous power. It is far more than a religious routine or a duty we perform out of obligation. Yes, it is a duty, but it goes beyond that.
Prayer is not something we do only during crises, needs, or emergencies. We don’t pray simply because something is wrong. Prayer itself is a spiritual force designed to produce spiritual results.
If prayer is truly dynamic, how then can we experience this dynamism?
Below are the forces that make prayer functional, effective, and result-producing:
1. Prayer is established on a functional relationship between man and God (Matthew 6:9).
Relationship is what makes prayer effective. Relationship comes before requests. You don’t ask a stranger on the street for personal things; requests flow from relationship. In the same way, our communication with God becomes powerful when it flows from our relationship with Him.
2. Prayer is built on the platform of God’s promises to His people (2 Peter 1:3–4).
We gain boldness in prayer because God has already spoken. The promises of God are the premises of prayer. When you stand on His promises, you stand on solid ground.
The clearer your understanding of God’s promises, the stronger and more forceful your prayer life becomes.
Hosea 14:2 says, “Take with you words, and turn to the Lord…” Find God’s promises, take them with you, and present them before Him.
3. Prayer is established on the knowledge of the Almightiness of God (Jeremiah 32:17).
God can do all things. He is not weak, limited, or lacking in power. Knowing God’s limitless might fuels effective prayer.
Do not approach God on the basis of emotions or sentiments—approach Him based on Scripture and His revealed nature.
Remember this: Prayer is a spiritual force with expected spiritual results.
Assignments:
Maintain a personal and living relationship with God.
Approach prayer on the foundation of Scripture, not emotions.
Hold firmly to God’s promises and come boldly before Him in prayer.
Prayer:
Father, help me to know You deeply. Give me the grace to pray effectively and receive answers, in Jesus’ Name.
