Then said I unto them, Ye see the distress that we are in, how Jerusalem lieth waste, and the gates thereof are burned with fire: come, and let us build up the wall of Jerusalem, that we be no more a reproach.

SEEDS OF DESTINY MESSAGE FOR TODAY 2ND JUNE 2025
Vision is a critical necessity for life and destiny fulfilment.
However, it is important to note that it is not just any kind of vision that is critical to life. Selfless visions, visions that are beyond self or personal interests are the kind of vision that have positive impacts on life and destiny.
A major key to a life of purpose, impact, and Divine help is possessing a vision that is beyond self. A genuine vision must not be driven by selfish gain, personal benefit, or human praise. A true vision must be bigger than the one who conceived the vision.
Nehemiah was a good example. In Nehemiah 1:3-4, Nehemiah heard about the broken walls of Jerusalem and the suffering of his people, and he was moved to tears. He was not seeking fame or recognition—he was burdened by the condition of God’s people and God’s city. That burden became his vision, and it attracted the backing, favour and provision of God.
David was another good example. He also had a vision that was beyond himself. In 1 Samuel 17:26, he confronted Goliath not to make a name, but to remove the reproach from Israel and honour the Name of God. His drive came from a deep passion for God’s glory, not personal gain.
A vision that is beyond self comes with an unusual drive. It attracts supernatural backing and manifestation. When your heart beats for God and His people, Heaven naturally backs you up.
A man once told me during the construction of the Glory Dome that if God gave him a particular amount of money that he was expecting (a nine-figure sum), he would lay it before God for the project. I prayed for him, and God answered the prayer. Within a short time, the breakthrough came, and he returned with the exact amount. From that time, it has been breakthroughs upon breakthroughs for him.
Beloved, you see, a vision that is beyond self is key to accessing limitless Divine supplies and opportunities. Do not live for yourself alone. Let your vision touch lives. Let it glorify God.
Remember this: A vision that is beyond self comes with an unusual drive. It attracts supernatural backing and manifestation.
ASSIGNMENT (S):
- Re-evaluate your vision for living; is it self-centered or God-centered?
- Ask God to give you a vision that impacts His Kingdom and humanity.
- Do all it takes to fulfil the vision.
PRAYER: Lord, I ask that You deliver me from selfish ambition. Give me a vision that will glorify You and be a blessing to humanity, Lord, in Jesus’ Name.
