SEEDS OF DESTINY MESSAGE FOR TODAY 13TH MAY 2025
One of the greatest weapons for the preservation of the saint is integrity and uprightness of character. Integrity and uprightness carry preservation power.
If you go through the scriptures, you will see how uprightness and integrity preserved people.
Today, we shall look at the preservation power of integrity (godly character) in the life of Jesus.
Our Master Jesus says in John 14:30, Hereafter I will not talk much with you: for the prince of this world cometh, and hath nothing in me. In essence, He was saying, The prince of this world, the force of hell, the power of darkness is approaching, but he has nothing in me so he can do nothing against me.
Now, the question to ask is, what is in the Godly character that empowers it to preserve people’s lives?
- Godly character establishes people in the Presence of God and the Presence of God is a preservative of life. Psalm 24:3-5 says, Who shall ascend into the hill of the LORD? or who shall stand in his holy place? He that hath clean hands, and a pure heart; who hath not lifted up his soul unto vanity, nor sworn deceitfully. He shall receive the blessing from the LORD, and righteousness from the God of his salvation.
So, the man who has not lifted his soul to vanity, the man with clean hands, a pure heart, such a man shall abide in the Presence of the Lord. And what does that do for him? It is revealed in Psalm 91:1-2 which says, He that dwelleth in the secret place of the Most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the LORD, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust.
So, where the conscience is clear, God’s Presence is there. And once you are in His Presence, you are not a wastable material for any devil. So upright character positions a man in the Presence of God, and the Presence of God is a preservative of life and destiny.
- Godly character positions people in a realm that is beyond the reach of harm.
Isaiah 33:15-16 describes the person who shall dwell on high, whose place of defense is in the munition of the rocks, as one who walks righteously, speaks uprightly, despises the gain of oppressions, shakes his hands from holding of bribes, stops his ears from hearing of blood and shuts his eyes from seeing evil. That is the man that shall dwell on high, and whose place of defense shall be the munition of rocks.
When you fulfill all the qualifications according to Isaiah 33:15, you can dwell in a realm that is far beyond the reach of harm.
You know, no matter how desperate an armed robber is, he cannot mount a roadblock for an aircraft; the realm where the aircraft operates is not the realm of robbery. Godly character positions a man in a realm that is far beyond the realm of witches and wizards and occultic powers.
Beloved, every devil or his human agents looking for your life shall take their own lives. You shall fulfill your days, in Jesus’ Name.
Remember this: The Presence of God is a preservative of life.
ASSIGNMENT(S):
- Refuse to live in sin.
- Make demands on God for the preservation of your life by the power of His Presence.
PRAYER: Father, I receive the grace to walk uprightly. Sin has no place in my life anymore. I declare that I am preserved by the Power of God’s Presence and the Blood of Jesus, in Jesus’ Name.
