2025 TEENS VOLUME RHAPSODY OF REALITIES – MESSAGE.

SCRIPTURE FOCUS – Mark 16:20
Wednesday, October 15
“And they went out and preached everywhere, the Lord working with them and confirming the word through the accompanying signs. Amen.”

LET’S REFLECT
The Synoptic Gospels—Matthew, Mark, and Luke—offer distinct perspectives on Jesus’ command to share the Gospel, yet they unite on a central truth: the Gospel is for all people, reaching every man, woman, boy, and girl across every nation without exception. In Mark 16:20, we see a clear framework for our mission: the disciples “went out and preached everywhere, and the Lord worked with them, confirming the word they preached with signs.” This truth holds today. Our role is to proclaim the Word in faith; God’s role is to confirm it with signs and wonders.

Luke’s Gospel highlights the essence of our message. In Luke 24:46–47, Jesus declared, “…Thus it is written, and thus it was necessary for the Christ to suffer and to rise from the dead the third day, and that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in His name to all nations, beginning at Jerusalem.” The Gospel isn’t merely about hope and love—it’s a call to transformation, urging people to turn from sin and embrace God’s forgiveness through Christ.

While Matthew emphasized teaching all of Jesus’ commands (Matthew 28:19-20) and Mark focused on preaching the Gospel with divine confirmation (Mark 16:19-20), Luke provides a fuller picture, stressing the proclamation of repentance and forgiveness of sins to all nations. Initially, the early disciples may have limited their outreach, primarily sharing the Gospel with fellow Jews, possibly believing it was meant only for them. However, through prayer, divine revelation, and discussions like those in Acts 15, they grasped the universal scope of Jesus’ mandate—the Gospel is for the entire world, every nation, and every person.

Today, we carry the same calling. As believers, we’re commissioned to take this message to the ends of the earth, teaching, preaching, and declaring repentance and forgiveness in Jesus’ name. And just as in the early Church, the Lord continues to work with us, affirming His Word with signs and miracles. Hallelujah!
