2025 TEENS VOLUME RHAPSODY OF REALITIES – MESSAGE.
In John 8, the Lord Jesus addressed the inability of the Jewish religious leaders to understand His message. He said, “Why do you not understand what I say? It is because you do not want to hear My teaching” (John 8:43 NLV). To them, His words were just mere teachings. But to others, they were full of life and power, active words that, when believed and spoken forth, effected changes. The Greek translation of “Word” in our opening verse is “Rhema,” meaning “the spoken word of God.” That’s what Paul meant when he called it “the sword of the Spirit” in Ephesians 6:17; it’s the spoken, active Word. Even though the Word is powerful—sharper than any two-edged sword—it just sits like a sword in its sheath until you speak it. When you speak it forth, it becomes a weapon that can cut down anything the enemy throws your way. In Revelation 1:16, the Apostle John, referring to Jesus, said, “… out of His mouth went a sharp two-edged sword….” This doesn’t mean a literal sword was protruding from His mouth but that His words were a sharp weapon as they proceeded from His mouth. The Greek word for “mouth” is “stoma,” and it refers to “the front or edge of a weapon.” Your mouth is the front or edge of a weapon. When the Word of God comes out of your mouth, you cut down fear, anxiety, sickness and poverty; you discomfit Satan and the works of darkness! Your mouth is a sword. Use it to cut down the works of the enemy in your school, city, and nation.

PRAY
Precious Father, I thank you for the power of your Word in my mouth. I declare, as I utter your Word, situations align with the realities of the glorious life that you’ve ordained for me in Christ. Through my words, I bring healing and health, deliverance, victory and success to my world, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
