DAILY MANNA FOR TODAY
In the entertainment world, stories are told in seasons. In agriculture and weather, seasons refer to cycles such as rainy and dry periods or spring, summer, autumn, and winter
. In the Bible, however, a season can also mean an appointed time set by God to accomplish a divine purpose (Ecclesiastes 3:1).
All these meanings perfectly describe the coming of Jesus Christ into the world. No earthly season compares to God’s appointed time when Jesus appeared to redeem humanity.
His coming marked a divine moment unlike any other—a season designed to bring salvation, healing, and freedom.
In today’s passage, Jesus returns in the power of the Holy Spirit and enters the synagogue in Nazareth.
He is handed the scroll of Isaiah and reads a prophetic passage describing the mission of the Messiah. After reading, He boldly declares that the Scripture has been fulfilled in their hearing, revealing Himself as the promised Deliverer.
The first coming of Jesus Christ stands as the greatest divine intervention in human history.
God, compelled by love, sent His only begotten Son to save a lost world. Jesus came to preach good news to the poor, heal broken hearts, deliver captives, restore sight to the blind, and set the oppressed free.
This season of Christ’s coming brings uncommon hope and a precious opportunity to embrace God’s love. It also challenges us to accept His gift of salvation and proclaim the good news to others.
