GOODNEWS DAILY TEACHING BY UEBERT ANGEL 26TH DECEMBER 2025.
What if you arrived at work or university and found the world’s best actor as your stand-in supervisor or lecturer?
Many would go the extra mile to make them feel welcome, some might even give up their lunch just to honour them.
Today’s verse tells you to do just that for EVERYONE! The word “esteem” comes from the Greek hēgéomai, meaning to count or consider.
It implies deliberately holding a superior view of others, shaping how you treat them, famous or not. Imagine if we all lived this way, humbling ourselves to regard others above ourselves, most of the world’s problems would vanish.
As we start looking into a new year, commit to esteeming others above yourself and prioritising their needs. Not only will it deal with selfishness in you, but it will also teach those around you the great lesson of making sacrifices for others!
PROPHETIC DECLARATION
In this coming year, I shall demonstrate selflessness like never before. People shall see Christ through me in Jesus’ Name! Amen.
