GOODNEWS DAILY TEACHING BY UEBERT ANGEL 18TH DECEMBER 2025.
In church we often say, “lift up your hands,” whether in prayer, worship or praise. Why? Because there’s power in your hands that brings victory.
Paul, writing to Timothy, said, “I will therefore that men pray everywhere, lifting up holy hands…” (1 Timothy 2:8). Take a closer look at today’s verse.
In the battle against Amalek, Aaron and Hur realised that Israel’s victory was tied to Moses’ raised hands. When he grew tired, they seated him on a stone and held up his hands on each side, keeping them lifted until Amalek was defeated.
The lifting up of hands is a strategy of the Spirit for your continual victory. It may not make sense, but it makes faith! If it worked for Moses, it shall work for you as you lift your hands and claim your victory today!
PROPHETIC DECLARATION
As I lift my hands in prayer, every challenge I face today has already been won! I claim victory in everything in Jesus’ Name! Amen.
