Isn’t this amazing. The Bible is very particular with words, especially for emphasis. Notice how this passage emphasises that we are now the sons of God. It’s presented as a wake-up call—urging us to realise and recognise that we are already the sons of God!
It’s a very important wake-up call because there is power to be realised in that statement. We identify ourselves more as Christians, which merely means followers of Christ, an identity given to us by pagans! Yet our real identity is that we are the sons of God. Our approach, our stance, and our attitude would be very different if we really took on that identity. Even our argument with other religions would be a class above the rest.
Today, awaken to this reality that you are the son of God right now, not just a child, but a son, and start walking in that authority.
PROPHETIC DECLARATION
I am a son of God right now, and I awaken to this reality and authority in the Name of Jesus! Amen.
