GOODNEWS DAILY TEACHING BY UEBERT ANGEL 22ND FEBRUARY 2025.
Do you know it’s so easy to get so busy doing the work of God that you neglect the God of the work you’re doing? You’ll even be convinced and proud that you’re a good servant of God, always planning church activities, going into the communities, visiting the elderly and the orphans, serving in church, and a whole lot more.
But we get a God’s-eye perspective in this passage of scripture. He commends the great work the church is doing but quickly points out the massive flaw in their walk with the Lord. He said, “You have forgotten Me, your first love!” Imagine this, the Lord Himself saying, “You have forgotten Me, come back.” Do you even remember it yourself, or do you only remember your first boyfriend or girlfriend?
Today, turn your heart to Him again; go back to that first love. Learn to romance His heart again as you worship Him. Retreat from the noise in the world and spend quality time in prayer with Him. Today, make the time to fellowship with Him.
PROPHETIC DECLARATION
Today I turn my heart anew toward God. I recommit and reaffirm my love for the King of Kings. I am intertwined with Him, and I am so loved by Him! Amen.
