Sometimes, we think we have to convict people, we have to tell them everything they’re doing wrong, we have to change their mind, but the Holy Spirit is the one that convicts. Our job is to just plant the seed. That seed may fall on hard ground. Their heart may not be open. But the good news is the seed never dies. I read where a seed was found that was over four thousand years old. It had been in an airtight coffin. They took the seed out and it blossomed. It was still alive. All it needed was the right soil.
The Scripture says, “Let the weak say I am strong. Let the poor say I am well off.” Don’t just sit around in weakness; don’t just talk about how life is not fair and “I’ll probably always struggle.” Talking defeat brings more defeat. Talking about the weakness will keep you weak. God’s given you a sword that can break the powers that are holding you back. You have a sword that can unleash your dreams, unlock your potential and thrust you to a new level.
Take it out of its sheath and start swinging it. “I am blessed. I am prosperous. I am strong, healthy, forgiven, favored. I am more than a conqueror.” You keep swinging your sword like that, and you’ll see God do things you couldn’t do: favor, breakthroughs, new levels of your destiny.
