David was the youngest son, the smallest, the least experienced. But God said in Psalm 89, “I have selected David from common people to become king.” You may feel common, ordinary, but you don’t know what God has lined up for you. God has already spoken to people about you, like Samuel, but they haven’t shown up yet. There’s going to be a knock on the door. Your time is coming. Just keep being faithful. Keep doing the right thing. You never know when you’re going to get called in from the fields. Nobody could have planned this for Davids’s life. No circumstances said he would be in leadership, become a king. That was so far out. But God has things you haven’t seen, heard, or imagined. Uncommon blessings will come to you.
