Reflection:
As we enter the Advent season, we begin with the theme of hope. Hope is the confident expectation of what God has promised, and its strength is in His faithfulness. The birth of Jesus was the fulfillment of a long-awaited hope—a light dawning in the darkness. Advent is a time to remember that Jesus is our hope in every situation. Even when circumstances seem bleak, we are reminded that God’s light shines through the darkness, offering us hope and a future.
PRAYER FOR TODAY 1ST DECEMBER 2024.
Prayer: Lord, as we begin this Advent season, fill my heart with hope. Help me to remember that you are the light that shines in the darkness and that your promises are sure. Thank you for the hope that we have in Jesus, our Savior. May this season be filled with anticipation and trust in your faithfulness. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
