Many Christians haven’t understood just how much power they possess in their mouths. So they walk in ignorance, and nothing seems to go right in their lives. Let me show you something. In the book of Joshua 1:3, God said, “Every place that the sole of your foot shall tread upon, that have I given unto you.” Brothers and sisters, while this sounds so good, it is an Old Testament reality. We have a better way now – victory is now in the mouth! It’s no longer “Where the soles of your feet shall tread upon;” rather, it’s “You shall have what you say!”
Your mouth yields so much power just by words alone! Every time you release words with your mouth, you’re using a dangerous weapon. The best part is that it’s portable—you cannot go anywhere without it! The Greek word for mouth is “stoma,” which means “the front or edge of a weapon.” Today’s verse says it’s a sharp threshing instrument with teeth! You can cut down poverty, failure, cancer, diabetes, HIV, and so on. Use your mouth to recreate your world today!
PROPHETIC DECLARATION
Whatever I say with my mouth today, I have possessed. My mouth is a weapon, and I shall utilize it even more now in Jesus’ Name! Amen.
