The Scripture says, “God will never leave you or forsake you.” If they walked away, ghosted you, betrayed you, ignored you and you needed them, that would mean God was forsaking you. You can draw the conclusion that if they walked away, their part in your story was over. If they don’t want to be your friend, you don’t need them. If they’re too busy, don’t take it personally. If they don’t value you and don’t make you feel like you have something to offer, they’re not for you. You have to move on. Quit trying to talk people into staying who don’t want to stay. Let them walk. Be at peace with who leaves your life. Everyone is not supposed to stay.
