We’re all going to have times when we limp. “If I would have finished school, then I would have been successful. If I had more confidence, more personality, then I could accomplish that dream. If I hadn’t made those mistakes, hadn’t wasted years compromising, then I could be happy.” As long as you’re using the limp as an excuse, you’ll get stuck where you are. You may be limping now; things have happened that you don’t understand, but that limp is not how your story ends: the disappointment, the betrayal, the unhealthy childhood.
