PASTOR PAUL ENENCHE’S SEEDS OF DESTINY DEVOTIONAL MESSAGE FOR 19TH DECEMBER 2024.

It has been confirmed that prayer is the platform for maintaining a relationship with God. We relate with God through prayer.

This means prayerlessness is a sign of relationship breakdown. A breakdown in prayer signifies a breakdown in our relationship with God. Those who are prayerless do not have a viable or functional relationship with God.

Since prayer is an essential component of the Christian life, it is very important to know how to pray effectively.
Now, one strategy for answered prayer is the maintenance of full assurance of faith. You cannot pray effectively and see results when faith is absent.

James 1:6-8 says:
But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed. For let not that man think that he shall receive anything of the Lord. A double-minded man is unstable in all his ways.

Please understand this: To waver in doubt is to wallow in defeat. It is not possible to experience victory in prayer where doubt is present. Nothing can be received from God on the grounds of doubt.

The assurance of faith is being sure of the answer to your prayer even before you pray.

Beloved, until you are interested in building your faith, you are not interested in receiving answers to your prayers. Faith must be built on a continuous basis. There are situations that will arise where we must locate the relevant light to deal with them. You don’t outgrow your need for faith. There is no spiritual giant who will ever be too big to need faith.

My counsel is, pay the price to build your faith on a perpetual basis.

Remember this: To waver in doubt is to wallow in defeat.

ASSIGNMENT:
1. Refuse to doubt God or His Word.
2. Approach God with the assurance of faith when you pray.

PRAYER: Father, I ask that You kill unbelief and doubt from my life. Help me to keep growing in faith Lord, in Jesus’ Name.

QUOTE: When a person continuously repeats his mistakes, success will be far. When a man does not learn from his mistakes, failures and defeat, he is not wise. Culled from the book, “21 Foolish Things People Do” by Dr Paul Enenche.

DAILY READING: James 5-1 Peter 2,
