Scripture: Genesis 38:29.
And it came to pass, as he drew back his hand, that, behold, his brother came out: and she said, How hast thou broken forth? this breach be upon thee: therefore his name was called Pharez.

PASTOR PAUL ENENCHE’S SEEDS OF DESTINY DEVOTIONAL MESSAGE FOR 31ST OCTOBER 2024.
In the book of Genesis 38:26-30, we saw the story of a set of twin boys born to Judah by Tammar.
As Tamar travailed to bring forth, the first child, Zarah, came forth with his hand, but drew back his hand. The second son came out with his head and broke forth.
This story teaches us many great lessons.
Zarah brought forth his hand, but his hand went back; Pharez brought out his head and broke forth.
This means, head work is superior to hand work. Strategy is superior to energy.Those who use their heads get ahead. Wisdom is key to stardom.
Beloved, engage mentality in your activity and you will see productivity.
There are many people who have been dispensing their energy, yet they don’t see results in life. They keep working and working, yet they see little or no results. The simple reason is that they are dispensing energy without strategy. Energy without strategy equals hard work without results. You need strategy to excel in life. You get ahead of others when you use your head. The secret of becoming a Kingdom star is wisdom.
Wisdom is the key to solving the puzzles of life. 1Kings 3:16-28 shows us the power of wisdom.
There was a time in Scripture when two prostitutes were struggling over the ownership of a child. The first woman slept on her child and killed him. Then she exchanged her dead child with the living child of the second woman. When the second woman woke up and saw a dead child by herself, she recognized that that was not her child. So, the two women began to argue and claim ownership of the living child.
When the case was brought to King Solomon, God gave him wisdom. Solomon asked for a sword to cut the living child into two halves for the two women.
While the first woman commended that decision, the second woman, who was the real mother of the child, refused, and instead asked that the living child be given to the other woman because her bowel yearned for her child.
At this point, Solomon knew that the woman who resisted the cutting of the child into two halves was the real owner of the child, and the child was given to her. What a display of wisdom!
Beloved, ask God to baptise you afresh with the Spirit of wisdom.
Remember this: Head work is superior to hand work. Strategy is superior to energy.
ASSIGNMENTS:
- Ask God to baptize you afresh with wisdom and strategy.
- Make up your mind to pay the price for wisdom.
PRAYER: Deliver me, Lord from every form of fruitless labour. I ask that You baptize me with the Spirit of wisdom and strategy so I can be productive in life, Lord, in Jesus’ Name.
