MFM DAILY DEVOTIONAL 3RD MARCH 2024

The problem with many believers is that they profess great faith one day and exhibit unbelief and doubt the next day. They lack consistency and tenacity in their faith. The Bible says such persons cannot have anything worthwhile from the Lord. This is also the reason why the prayers of many professed believers are not answered. Jesus said that it is those who endure to the end that shall be saved. You need strong, persistent, and enduring faith to be an overcomer in life. The weak faith that falters and fails in the face of the smallest trial will not lead you anywhere nor get the best reward for you from God.

The truth is that both God and the devil will test your faith. In each instance, you are expected to pass the test. The trial of your faith will produce patience and other godly virtues in you. The Bible affirms that Abraham was indeed the father of faith. He demonstrated great faith in God and it was accounted to him as righteousness. By demonstrating genuine faith in God, he became God’s friend. In spite of old age (100) and his wife’s (90), Abraham was fully persuaded that God would faithfully perform what He had told him about having a covenant or destiny child. The Bible says, “He staggered not in faith, believing that He who had promised would do it.” That is the kind of faith God wants you to demonstrate always.

People often stop trusting God for their hearts’ desires when they present their request to God a number of times and there is no answer. Sometimes, on account of this, they will stop praying or stop even going to church and serving God. Abraham did not stagger or waiver in faith. Rather, he kept believing for decades until Isaac, the promised child was born. Similarly, Hannah did not allow the enemy to shipwreck her faith while Peninah was mocking and taunting her for lack of a child. For several years, she kept on praying and believing God for a turnaround in her story. The God who answers prayers visited her and answered her by fire! She didn’t stop believing God. This gave birth to Hannah’s prophetic prayer in 1 Samuel 2.

MFM DAILY PRAYER POINTS 3RD MARCH 2024

MORNING
1. Father, give me the faith that does not waver, in the name of Jesus.
2. O God, strengthen my faith and make it persistent, in the name of Jesus.
3. Powers that want my faith to fail, you are liars, die, in the name of Jesus.

EVENING
4. As Abraham’s faith produced Isaac, let my faith bring forth my desired miracles, in the name of Jesus.
5. As Hannah’s faith produced Samuel, Father, let my faith in you give birth to gigantic testimonies, in the name of Jesus
6. Father, give me a new song as You did for Hannah, in the name of Jesus.
7. I receive the grace to pass the test and trial of my faith and reach my goal, in the name of Jesus.
