How you handle difficulties will determine whether you make it into your promised land. God has good breaks. He has the right people, the resources. But before that happens, you have to prove to Him that you can handle it. The way you’re tested is in the fire of affliction, in the disappointments, delays, when you’re not getting your way. Recognize that’s an opportunity to come up higher. It’s easy to get negative, complain. It’s easy to be offended, try to pay people back.
It’s easy to live in self-pity, discouraged over a bad break. It’s easy to get upset in traffic, be rude to people that are rude to you. But what if you knew all that was a test? It wasn’t random; it was strategic. God put you there to see how you would respond.
