2023 TEENS VOLUME RHAPSODY OF REALITIES – MESSAGE.

Some people doubt the reality of the Rapture, claiming that the word “rapture” is a hoax and not found in the Bible, and that Jesus never spoke about it. However, there are many things Jesus didn’t extensively address. For example, during His earthly ministry, His disciples had no knowledge of the Gentiles receiving salvation.

Despite being taught by Jesus, they couldn’t find a clear understanding of the inclusion of the Gentiles in salvation. When Peter visited the house of Cornelius, a Roman Centurion, and shared his experience of the Holy Spirit coming upon the Gentiles, the other disciples were initially upset.

Peter had to explain his encounter with the Spirit of God and how the Holy Spirit came upon the Gentiles while he was still speaking to them. James later found references in the Scriptures where the prophets foretold the Gentiles’ salvation. This was their first clue until the mystery and revelation of the Body of Christ was given to the Apostle Paul. Similarly, the term “rapture” may not be specifically mentioned in a verse because Paul described it as a mystery: “Behold, I tell you a mystery: We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed” (1 Corinthians 15:51).

In 1 Thessalonians 4:17, it states that we will be “caught up.” The Greek word used there is “harpazo,” which means to seize and take away. The Latin translation of “raptura” gives us the English word “rapture.” Therefore, it is incorrect to argue that the concept of the Rapture is absent from the Bible. Let no one deceive you; the Rapture is going to take place soon.

It is closer than it has ever been. Hebrews 9:28 says, “…Christ was offered once to bear the sins of many. To those who eagerly wait for Him, He will appear a second time, apart from sin, for salvation.” Be vigilant and ready, for the blessed hope of the Rapture is a reality that awaits us.
