2023 TEENS VOLUME RHAPSODY OF REALITIES – MESSAGE.
Once, I asked someone, “What does the power of God feel like and where do you feel it?” He couldn’t tell. So, I began to explain it to him. We can have feelings all over our body and recognise it’s the power of God; we can have feelings in our hands and recognise it’s the power of God. But here’s the question: What if you don’t feel it? Will it mean God is no longer there, or His power is absent? That’s where a whole lot of people miss it. When you feel the power or presence of God, it’s good, but God doesn’t want you to feel anything for you to know He’s with you and in you.
This dependency on feelings has destroyed the faith of many. He doesn’t work by feelings but by faith! In the New Testament, it makes no difference whether or not you feel the power or presence of God. I’ve felt the power of God many times, and I’ve also had occasions where I didn’t feel anything, but I had just as many results when I felt it as when I didn’t, because I understood that the “feeling” had nothing to do with it. Understand something: the totality or fullness of the Holy Spirit lives in you.
It doesn’t get better than that. God doesn’t increase Himself or reduce Himself in you. He dwells in you in His full measure. Are you aware that God isn’t more in heaven than He is in you? You’re His living tabernacle, His 55 ONE YEAR TWO YEAR habitation, and His mobile headquarters. You’re in Him, and He’s in you. In other words, you’ve become His habitation, and He’s become your habitation. Hallelujah! You live in Him, and He lives in you.
This has fulfilled the dream of Jesus Christ in His prayer to the Father in John 14:20: “…I am in My Father, and you in Me, and I in you….” The Holy Spirit made it happen. You’re inseparably one with Him; so, don’t rely on your feelings in relating with God; rely on His Word. God is a Spirit, and He relates with you, with your spirit, through the Word.
If you’d understand this, your whole life— your ministry, your prayer life, your worship—will be completely transformed and you’ll live every day in glory, dominion, and excellence. Glory to God!
