PASTOR PAUL ENENCHE’S SEEDS OF DESTINY DEVOTIONAL MESSAGE FOR 10TH DECEMBER 2022.

Our anchor Scripture makes it clear that offences must surely come. As long as you are alive in the world, you will be offended.

This is because Satan has a mission for offending people. There are things Satan wants to achieve with offences.

Now, what are the purposes of offences?
i. To ruin your spirituality.
Satan sends offences to you to ruin your spirituality. If you have any level of spirituality, you will be offended, and the aim is to ruin your spirituality through bitterness. The devil generates offences around spiritual people to ruin their spirituality and break their defences.

I have heard that in the kingdom of darkness, one of the things satan tells his agents to do is to keep offending Christians so they can get angry, lose the Presence of God, and become vulnerable to destruction.

ii. To abort your destiny.
If you have a meaningful destiny, you will be offended, and the aim of the offence is the abortion of that destiny. This is what satan attempted to do with Joseph. His brothers hated him and offended him. They sold him out and he became a slave in another country.

They saw his glorious future and were moved against him. When he visited his brothers in the field, as they saw him coming afar off, they said, “Here cometh the dreamer. Let’s kill him and see how his dream would come to pass.”(Genesis 37:19-20 paraphrased).

You see, if you have a great future, the devil will organize offences around you to abort your destiny.

REMEMBER THIS: If you have a great future, the devil will organize offences around you to abort your destiny.

ASSIGNMENTS:

  1. Go through today’s message once again.
  2. Having known the mission of offences, ask God to give you the grace to overcome the temptation of offences.

PRAYER: Lord, I ask for the grace not to lose my spirituality and abort my destiny through the weapon of offence. Help me to eschew bitterness and release forgiveness always, Lord, in Jesus’ Name.

FOR FURTHER UNDERSTANDING, GET THIS MESSAGE: THE TRAP OF BITTERNESS

QUOTE: Bitterness can be tricky to recognize because it’s not a symptom neither is it visible on the surface like anger usually is. Culled from the book, “AM I BITTER?” by Dr (Mrs) Becky Paul-Enenche.

DAILY READING: 1 Timothy 5 – 2 Timothy 1

AMAZING FACT: The diameter of Earth from the North Pole to the South Pole is shorter than its diameter across the Equator by 43km. Thus, Earth is not a perfect sphere and this difference in the diameter is the results of Earth’s rotation.

DECLARATION/WORD: Receive grace to escape the trap of bitterness in Jesus Name.
