PASTOR PAUL ENENCHE’S SEEDS OF DESTINY DEVOTIONAL MESSAGE FOR 24TH NOVEMBER 2023.

The Scripture makes it clear that every child of God is designed for distinction (Matthew 5:14). Every Christian is destined for the top (Deuteronomy 28:1, 13).

However, the potentials or designs of many people are never translated into a colourful destiny.

You see, there are children of wealthy people who end up in abject poverty. For example, I know of a lady whose father left great wealth for. She had a great potential. Sadly, she sold all her father’s wealth and began to drink and ended up in wretchedness.

So, one reason why great potentials do not translate into great destiny is what I call, “the enemies of destiny.”

Now, one enemy of destiny is, lack of vision.

One reason why Reuben slept with his father’s wife was that he lacked vision for living (Genesis 35:22). He lacked the vision for his future. And because he had no vision, he messed up his life in immorality.

You see, the way we conduct our lives from the beginning determines how we will end. Your behaviour affects your becoming. Your habit affects your habitat. The way you move or act determines how you would end. Actions determine outcome.

The way Reuben acted determined how he ended. He didn’t walk uprightly at the beginning, so he ended up as a disaster. He didn’t behave well, so he didn’t become anything in life. His action was bad, so, his outcome was terrible. He lost his birth right.

On the other hand, Joseph took the birth right that belonged to Reuben according to 1 Chronicles 5:1. Reuben was meant to be the first born, but the birth right went to the sons of Joseph. Beloved, make up your mind to live right, and put a vision before you to fulfil destiny.

REMEMBER THIS: Your behaviour affects your becoming.
